Who We Are

At NYC SHSAT, we believe that preparation should be just as advanced as the test itself. Founded in 2025, our mission is to bring clarity, confidence, and cutting-edge practice to one of the most important exams New York City students will ever face: the SHSAT.

We saw a gap. For years, families had limited options—books that didn’t fully capture the test, generic multiple-choice drills, or one-size-fits-all tutoring programs. But the SHSAT is changing, and so should the way students prepare. That’s why we built the first computer-adaptive digital practice tests designed specifically for the NYC SHSAT. Our tests adjust to each student’s performance in real time, just like the actual exam, making practice not only more realistic but also more effective.
