The Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) is administered by the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE). Our simulator materials are independently developed and are not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with the NYC DOE. While every effort has been made to design these simulations in alignment with the skills and content areas assessed on the SHSAT, as well as the New York State Learning Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics, they are intended for preparation purposes only. Use of these materials does not guarantee performance outcomes on the official exam. Institutional Note: Technical Alignment & Performance Disclosure: Tier alignments and school-specific recommendations are provisioned based on historical 2021–2024 cutoff intensities, which demonstrate a consistent competitive range between 498.00 and 563.00. Enrollment in a specific Tier provides the technical environment, algorithmic oversight, and stability calibration required to align with these performance thresholds; however, admission to any Specialized High School remains subject to the student’s live performance under official testing conditions. Our simulators are engineered to mitigate the Selection Gap through technical calibration, but this provisioning does not constitute a legal guarantee of admission.
